We stayed at Pugwash Cottage for 3 nights out of season in late February and it was a great break in a wonderful location – and great weather! The cottage itself has everything we needed for the two of us and our dog Jack. Loved the fact that we could literally walk around the corner and find ourselves on the seafront or walk the other direction and be outside the best fish and chip shop in Suffolk! Thanks ACC for helping us check in after the instructions I had been sent went missing – appreciated your responsiveness.

Very pretty and clean cottage. A stone’s throw from the beach and set back from the hustle and bustle of the high street. Lovely fresh laundry and good sized bedrooms. Perfect for our stay as a family of 4. We have visited Aldeburgh for a day here and there in the past but it was a real treat to stay in the town, so close to the beach, for 3 nights.

Wonderful Break At Pugwash Cottage. Great Location, arrived unpacked and didn’t use car again! The cottage was beautifully clean and really well appointed, and presented. It was the first time we had been to Aldeburgh, and it was great to explore at a leisurely pace, then come back to cosy cottage, and have a brilliant, comfy night’s sleep. The Kitchen was very well appointed with everything you would need and more. We would book again.

Pugwash Cottage is in a perfect location, a stone’s throw to the beach and close to all the shops of the High Street yet on a peaceful road. The cottage is cosy, clean, stylish and has everything you need (including comfy beds!). We had a fabulous few days in Aldeburgh and would highly recommend the cottage.

Can definitely recommend Pugwash Cottage. Great location and well furnished. The double bed in particular was really comfortable and upstairs was beautifully furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed. Parking outside was easy but might not be in the height of the season. We loved the Two Magpies and found plenty of places to eat/drink not only in Aldeburgh but also in Thorpeness, Southwold and Orford. Great place to take your dog.

Picture Postcard Perfect. I booked Pugwash Cottage for a long weekend in February for a writing break with another author. We had a fabulous time, we loved the cottage, and although we didn’t venture far, we were blessed with gorgeous sunshine and loved being only a minute away from the beach. The facilities in the cottage were great, it had everything we needed and the fire made it very cosy. We’ll definitely return.

Aldeburgh is a lovely seaside village with some good independent shops, nice pubs and very tasty restaurants. We had a very filling and satisfying meal at Thai street cafe. And a good quality one the following night at the lighthouse. Both not cheap but well worth the visit providing good service, friendly staff and great food. There are coffee shops, fish and chips and a cafe on the high street, all doing good quality fare along with a differing range of independent retailers. The stone beach is long and exposed. A good walk is to go to Thorpeness to the north or head south, following the beach to the river estuary. Or if you’re very brave, try a swim in the sea.

Pugwash Cottage is fabulous! At the quiet south end of the town, steps away from the beach, marsh walks, and interesting shops.
