Customer Reviews
We booked for a short Christmas break. It was the perfect venue: cosy, warm, just yards from the sea and the High Street shops and restaurants. Emma had provided lots of little touches to make it feel festive. A perfect cottage and we would highly recommend it. Thank you for letting us stay!

Lovely cottage!

My friend and I booked the cottage to celebrate my friend’s 40th birthday. We planned to have a relaxed visit to Aldeburgh, but also bring my 17 month old daughter along for her first girly trip. The cottage was very easy to locate and in a great location to access the High Street and beach front.
The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and in keeping with the beach location, and had all mod-cons. It was immaculately clean – which is something I always worry about – and generally felt like a home-from-home. We didn’t use it but imagine that if renting in the summer, the little garden terrace at the back would be great for sitting and enjoying a drink, and there is also space to sit out the front if you wish to people-watch.
We were provided a travel cot with clean linen which was perfect, and the host was on hand to answer any questions. Both bedrooms were lovely and clean. I would 100% recommend this cottage, and would definitely try to book again if staying in Aldeburgh.

Seahorse Cottage is even more lovely than the photos depict. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly need to hand. The beds were very comfortable. We found there is a lovely breeze with the windows open and although on the far end of the high street, with some traffic and people walking past – it’s wasn’t in the beast bit disturbing. The seagulls are a little noisy but what do you expect so close to the beach.
We enjoyed a welcome and champagne hamper upon arrival.
The garden is lovely little space to sit and enjoy a morning coffee or glass of wine.
It’s so close to amenities and restaurants and a 2 minute walk to the beach which we really enjoyed spending some time relaxing.
A fantastic visit and host – we will be back soon.
