Description
A charming, two double bedroom self-catering holiday cottage situated in the lovely Suffolk village of Knodishall overlooking the green, close to the beautiful Suffolk Heritage Coast. The cottage is recently refurbished to the highest standard, and quality materials and fittings have been used throughout. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cozy lounge and a well equipped kitchen. Hazel’s is an ideal holiday home for small families or couples.
The cottage is adjacent to Knodishall Common which is ideal for walking dogs. There is also a delightful children’s play area at the north of the Common, within easy walking distance.

A lovely cottage that was very clean, comfortable, quiet, well equipped, warm and had a great garden – we couldn’t fault it. A very enjoyable stay and in a great location for accessing the surrounding costal resorts such as Southwold, Aldeburgh etc. we had our dog with us and it was ideal. It’s a good find and we will definitely be back.

First time we have stayed in this superb cottage and will definitely rebook. The place was immaculate and extremely clean. Everything you could want to make it a ‘ home from home’. The location was very easy to find however we know the area very well. So peaceful, cosy and very comfortable beds. Beautiful countryside surrounding the cottage, great if you have a dog. Aldeburgh and Sizewell beaches, Snape Maltings – all great to visit. You will not be at all disappointed in choosing’ Hazel’s ‘ I can’t recommend it enough . 10/10

The host was excellent and replied quickly to all queries. Beautiful, quaint and comfortable cottage. The gin garden was lovely especially in the evening – a blackbird sang to us every evening!. Good walks from the village and cottage very central for visiting the Suffolk coast. Everything we could think of was provided.

This property is in an excellent location, for all coastal visits. The village location has excellent areas to walk a dog. The cottage is in excellent condition with cosy furnishings and comfortable bedrooms. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

Hazel’s is in a perfect location for exploring the local area, within easy reach of Minsmere, Aldeburgh, Orford, Southwold, Sutton Hoo and the beautiful Suffolk coast and countryside. The cottage has been recently refurbished and is cosy and very well equipped with really comfy beds. It is also very quiet, just perfect for a relaxing break. There is a second bathroom downstairs which we found really useful. As stated in the listing, the stairs are steep, so it might not suit you if you have any mobility issues.

We had a great stay at this little cottage, it is beautifully furnished and set up as a calm and peaceful place to enjoy. We found it to be very well equipped and it had everything we needed as a young family with two small kids. It was the perfect place to explore the local Suffolk coast from and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to escape for a bit!

We had a brilliant 2 nights. Very well equipped with good quality appliances. I especially liked the knife block and cafetière…! Lovely location right on the common.
