Perfect little cottage for a family break. The garden was beautiful too. Very peaceful setting easy to get to the coast and lots of lovely walks, pubs and places to visit.
Laura – June 2023
The host was excellent and replied quickly to all queries. Beautiful, quaint and comfortable cottage. The gin garden was lovely especially in the evening – a blackbird sang to us every evening!. Good walks from the village and cottage very central for visiting the Suffolk coast. Everything we could think of was provided.

This property is in an excellent location, for all coastal visits. The village location has excellent areas to walk a dog. The cottage is in excellent condition with cosy furnishings and comfortable bedrooms. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

Ideally located to enjoy all the delights of the locality
James – July 2022
Hazel’s is in a perfect location for exploring the local area, within easy reach of Minsmere, Aldeburgh, Orford, Southwold, Sutton Hoo and the beautiful Suffolk coast and countryside. The cottage has been recently refurbished and is cosy and very well equipped with really comfy beds. It is also very quiet, just perfect for a relaxing break. There is a second bathroom downstairs which we found really useful. As stated in the listing, the stairs are steep, so it might not suit you if you have any mobility issues.
Emma – April 2022
A brilliant place to stay! Just perfect for our needs
Mags – February 2022
We had a great stay at this little cottage, it is beautifully furnished and set up as a calm and peaceful place to enjoy. We found it to be very well equipped and it had everything we needed as a young family with two small kids. It was the perfect place to explore the local Suffolk coast from and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to escape for a bit!
Erica – February 2022
Lovely cottage in a quiet location. Good facilities. I don’t think the listing details a second bathroom which was useful. A great relaxing week with trips out the beach, Abbey, Sutton Hoo and RSPB reveres.
Stewart – November 2021
Super little cottage. Beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you could need. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect house for our family holiday. The kids loved the park around the corner and the dog loved walks around the common. It’s a great base as well for trips to Southwold. Highly recommended
