Amber Cottage, Aldeburgh

A beautiful house- great kitchen, very well equipped and huge bathroom with great bath. The kids loved the garden. The wood burning stove in the sitting room was so cosy. We loved our stay and will return.

We had a lovely two night stay in Emma’s Aldeburgh cottage – it was the perfect place for a family pre-Christmas getaway, with a cosy fire to gather around, a well stocked kitchen, and comfy bedrooms. Right by the co-op for all you need, and just a few minutes drive into the centre of town/ to the beach, the location was great. Thanks so much for having us!

Had a fantastic weekend at Amber Cottage. Perfect location for town – about a 15 min walk. Ideally situated opposite Co-Op. The house is just as described and was very clean and well equipped. Communication with Emma was quick and easy. I would recommend and return!

The home was cozy and decorated to the nines. We found everything up to snuff, plus some. The baths were pleasant, as were the sheets and even the sweet little backyard outdoor space. The master suite was an addition at the top of the house and made for a beautiful early morning sunrise from bed with Its windows and skylight, to the tune of doves and seabirds. Shopping was just across the street. It was an easy five minutes walking to the sea and town shops.

We had a lovely long weekend visit to Aldeburgh for a family wedding. The house was perfect for 3 generations all staying, and the location was perfect for walking into town and also popping over the road for groceries. Beautifully decorated, well equipped and with enough space for us all.

Lovely house, perfect location for Aldebrugh and surrounding areas, we stayed as a couple and then some friends joined us on the second night to celebrate my husbands birthday and it was the perfect setting for both nights. The house is just fabulous! So stylishly decorated and every detail/item/need has been thought of for a holiday property. Very spacious and comfortable. Quite unassuming from the street but amazing inside. The outside space is great too; garden, decking, lighted picnic table and not forgetting the trampoline. A wonderful holiday made all the better by the wonderful Amber Cottage! Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay. The house is just fabulous! So stylishly decorated and every detail/item/need has been thought of for a holiday property. First time to Aldeburgh and I think it won’t be the last! We really loved our stay in Aldeburgh! The house has a lush garden with lots of places to sit, a BBQ and a great kitchen and front room. Housed the 8 of us really comfortably. Tesco and Co-op over the road are brilliant too. A really special holiday for us!

A really wonderful cottage – spacious with great decor. The large kitchen/diner was well equipped with everything we needed (we’re foodies who like cooking!) There is a large garden, outdoor table/chairs & BBQ. Short walk from the high street and beach and handily opposite a shop. Roadside parking was free and there was always space. We were two couples and a baby and it suited us perfectly. I’m sure we’ll be back in the future!

Really lovely stay, the house looks modest from the outside but is very, very nice inside. Really clean and everything you need catered for. We are two families of 4 (kids ages 13, 12, 10 and 9) and the layout/bedrooms was perfect for us. 10 minute stroll to the seafront, lovely!

Lovely house and very well stocked kitchen with all implements and utensils etc! Just to note main bathroom is on ground floor which wasn’t an issue for us but may be if you need the toilet in the night lots! I’d happily stay here again in the future 🙂

The house was great for 6 of us – very spacious and airy The kitchen is amazing and so well equipped so you it’s quite easy to cook quite elaborate dinners and there’s a dishwasher which makes it all very easy The garden is a real bonus – a real sun trap and very English country garden. And there’s a bbq too Very convenient location – the co op across the road is quite big and really well stocked The local pub is lovely And it’s just a short 20 minute or so walk to the town centre Definitely recommend.
