The house is situated in an excellent position both regarding the town and the beach. The view from the upper storey looks over the shore and sea while the ground floor has access to a lovely garden. The house was spotlessly clean and every room was filled with artwork and interesting objects. A really enjoyable place to stay and the hosts were extremely helpful.

We stayed at this fabulous house to celebrate my dad’s 84th birthday- the location was possibly the best in Aldeburgh, the sea views breathtaking and the decor quirky, tasteful and interesting. There was so much to look at in the house, beautiful furnishings and art. The house was so well equipped and spotlessly clean and huge! I got lost at first till I got my bearings! A lovely garden which we were lucky enough to spend time in as the weather was sunny. I will definitely return and would highly recommend.

Wonderful house with fabulous sea views and loads of space. We had a great new year break – the house was spotless and we were very warm and comfortable. We felt very lucky to stay in what has obviously been a much loved family house by the sea for three generations. The wonderful sea air and clear starry skies were just what we needed to recharge our batteries. Thank you!

We stayed at the Beach House for a long weekend with some friends and our young children and were not disappointed! The photos really don’t do the house justice – it was larger than expected and really nicely laid out for our separate families to spend time together and to retreat into our own spaces. The location is also perfect – the garden backing onto the beach came into its own for quick, hassle free trips to gather pebbles and splash in the waves, while heading in the opposite direction quickly brings you out to Aldeburgh’s lovely shops, cafes and pubs… perfect for little legs that can’t travel great distances! Hope to be able to visit again! 🙂

We had an amazing stay at the Beach House. Aldeburgh itself is lovely and a couple of minutes walk away. There are some lovely shops and cafes , especially the Two Magpies bakery. The Beach House itself is in the most stunning location , the back gate from the garden leads onto the beach. We walked to Thorpeness, well worth a visit. The Beach House is a very unique house , clean, warm and comfortable with plenty of space for 8 adults and one baby. We were so comfortable there that we only went out for dinner on one evening! We cooked in the well equipped kitchen and relaxed in the breakfast room/dining room. All in all, we would definitely recommend!

Lovely house in amazing beachfront location. We had an amazing stay. Large property with interesting decoration – plenty of space for a large family. Being right on the beach was fantastic. We paddled in the sea, threw pebbles in the sea and flew kites. Aldeburgh was a wonderful town to explore. Yummy cakes from the Two Magpies Bakery and some of the best fish and chips we’ve had in a long time. The children enjoyed sailing toy boats on the yachting lake. We visited Southwold, Thorpeness (hired boats), did a great family friendly cycle in Rendelsham forest and made a trip to Orford Ness (pre booking needed)- well worth it if anyone is into military history. Would highly recommend a stay in Beach House. Great communication and well equipped house.

This is a fantastic house in a great location -step out of the back gate & you’re on the beach . The town is minutes away. The house is lovely and spacious , was really clean , full of character and amazingly well equipped. A beautiful garden at the to sit in & a very peaceful location.
