A really lovely cottage recently refurbished to a very high standard that feels fresh, bright and inviting. As soon as we walked in we felt at home. Extremely well equipped kitchen with a sunny tranquil courtyard garden with sitting area and bbq. Cosy lounge with a log burner to warm up the colder months. Close to Tunstall forest for walking or cycling with use of garage to store bicycles and just a 5 minute walk to the village pub. We usually stay in Aldeburgh but we enjoyed our stay at Chantry cottage so much we booked again for a longer stay in the summer.

This is a beautiful cottage stay, really comfortable and clean. Loved the fire and WiFi was good enough for two of us to work and be on calls at the same time!

Ideal location for visiting popular tourist destinations. Cosy, clean cottage furnished to a high standard and very well equipped, by far the best place I have stayed in East Anglia. It turned out to be the ideal base camp for all the places I wanted to revisit both coastal and inland, combining photography with a few walks…and the weather was SUNNY. I would readily choose to stay here for a future break.

A fantastic, cosy, beautiful little cottage in a quiet village. Just what we were looking for, for a few days away. The house was spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated and maintained.
Chris – January 2022
Had the most wonderful stay in this beautifully presented cottage over the Christmas period. Immaculately clean with cosy decor. The cottage has everything you could possibly need set in a very peaceful location. Thank you so much for everything including the Christmas tree. We really enjoyed our stay here.

This little cottage has been refurbished to extremely high standards. It was a privilege to be the first guests to stay there. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay memorable. The courtyard was lovely, quiet and secluded and had a great electric BBQ for alfresco dining. There are nice places to visit nearby and this cottage is a perfect base. We would definitely return.
