Located in the popular seaside town of Aldeburgh ‘The Old Bakery’ is a first floor apartment conveniently situated on the High Street – just a stone’s throw away from the beach and an excellent range of shops, restaurants and pubs. A perfect location (although being above a delicious bakery has its downsides…). A beautiful, pristine flat, far larger than I’d expected. All mod cons. And a host who was not only responsive, but rang to let me know I could check in early – even though I hadn’t asked for it. I was there for a bit of peace and quiet. The flat provided that wonderfully – although it’d be just as great for a group or a family. I loved it.

Wonderful stay in an absolutely amazing place. Fab location on the High Street, so very close to shops, restaurants, the beach and great walks. The apartment was well furnished, with everything needed in the 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fab kitchen & dining and enormous lounge area. Perfect for the two of us and Cassia the dog, with friends joining us at the beginning and the end of our stay. We love Aldeburgh and The Old Bakery apartment made it all feel like a home from home. Any questions we had were always promptly answered. Will definitely be looking to stay there again

Six of us stayed here for the weekend leading up to Christmas. We love Aldeburgh and have stayed in a few different places in recent years, but this was easily the best. The location is perfect – right in the middle of the high street and within walking distance of anything you’d want to do in the town. You might think this could mean lots of street noise, but Aldeburgh is a sleepy place and this was not an issue whatsoever. There is a working bakery right underneath the property too, so that’s breakfast sorted..! Emma was extremely helpful and we had everything we needed before we arrived. We were able to push our checkout time back from 10am to 12pm with a quick phone call, no extra charges. You won’t be disappointed – just book it!

Great place. Super location on the high street. Fabulous bakery below. We were only three adults but lots of space. Very well equipped. No on site parking but easy to park near and can park on high street overnight (but need to move by 11am.). Town was very peaceful but at weekend most of restaurants were fully booked (it was last weekend of half term tho). Some lovely pubs local and handy for shops.

This is a wonderful property and a simply fantastic place to stay for a trip to beautiful Aldeburgh. The property is incredibly clean and well laid out with a great deal of space for the whole family to enjoy together – but also have some down-time space. Everything is a few minutes walk away and the property is very peaceful. The decor has been very well selected and all chairs, beds, etc. are very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Thank you for making my mum’s 60th birthday extra special! We felt relaxed and cosy as soon as we walked through the door of your beautiful coastal home. To see the sea every morning from our rooms, and enjoy coffee from the bakery, was such a wonderful way to start each day.

We had a wonderful weekend at The Old Bakery. It was a re run of our family Christmas as we were due to go away with our family but my husband and I managed to get covid just before Christmas!!!! The flat was perfect for us. We couldn’t believe how well equipped it was, the kitchen although small had everything we needed. It was spacious, very clean and extremely comfortable. We even managed to find a few Christmas decorations to put up while we opened our presents!!!
