The large deck/ patio which offers a lovely views over Aldeburgh Beach, providing an ideal spot to sit, read or enjoy a drink. Comfortably sleeping eight guests in four bedrooms, this is the ideal holiday home for a family or group.
This pet friendly property is also just a few paces off Aldeburgh’s High Street with its eclectic range of local shops, brand name boutiques, restaurants and galleries along with an independent cinema.
As well as the excellent walking along the heritage coastline, there are varied sport and leisure activities including cycling, sailing and golfing. Local places of interest includes Snape Maltings, Thorpeness, Southwold and Orford just to name a few.

We had a wonderful stay at Skippers Cottage although the weather could have been a little better for us!! 😂 On the whole the property was great in a perfect location for a long walk along the beach to Thorpeness early in the morning. Pubs and restaurants in the town were brilliant and only a few minutes walk.

Great property, we celebrated a birthday and family visiting from overseas It is very well laid out for 8 guests, giving a variety of rooms to enable together and alone time for everyone. Loved the upside down front room enabling a sea view We made use of all the space even the outside decking and a splash in the sea

Our family spent a lovely weekend in Aldeburgh to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Skipper’s Cottage is easily on best location in town. The sea views from the sitting room and the master bedroom were amazing and the children loved the fussball table. The house very clean and exactly as in the pictures. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that there was off-street parking.

Really nice property, very spacious and perfectly located for beach and town. Great views from the terrace. Well equipped and comfortable, we were sorry to leave. Aldeburgh is a pretty town with lots of cafes and restaurants and some small shops. Lots of attractive places to visit in the area.
