Great location with a lovely blend of old and new. Courtyard garden is a real treat and seafront is a minute’s walk across the road. Bedrooms are all generous in size and the cottage is pleasantly furnished throughout. Look forward to booking again in the near future.

My family and I had a lovely stay at pear tree cottage. We spent Christmas week there and to our surprise we arrived to discover a Christmas tree, decorations and a bottle of sparkling wine. The space itself was sparkling clean, freshly painted and looked much bigger than the pictures convey. The kitchen was well equipped to made Christmas dinner, a new log burner had just been installed to keep us toasty and along with central heating and reliable hot water we were kept cosy. The cottage has plenty of character and charm in combination with all the modern comfort you could want. Before the booking, communication had been flawless. The location was perfect with nearby parking and the sea and local pub just a couple of minutes walk away. We all had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate to thoroughly recommend this gem of a place.

‘Super service’
We booked last minute and they could not have been more helpful. We were most appreciative of them contacting us to let us know that the cottage was ready ahead of time. It was perfect for what we needed. We had a young child with us and a convalescing husband. The layout was just right for us.
