Beautiful apartment in a great location! We were able to park outside with no problem. Very well appointed with everything we needed, and spotlessly clean. We were there at the beginning of January and we were secretly hoping for rubbish weather and it didn’t disappoint – so a lot of time was spent watching the sea from the window seat, cosy with the stove lit!

What a find! Directly opposite the beach, the most beautiful bay window to read by or just take in the sea views. Located towards one end of the beach, we were able to park directly outside. It’s far enough from the main drag to not be too busy, but a hop & a skip from everything you need. Courtesy call on the day of arrival to let me know that we could check in early. Very well appointed High St with lovely restaurants, delicatessens, ice cream parlours, clothes shops etc. We were lucky enough to be tipped off that the RNLI had a training exercise one morning so we saw them launch both boats. Lots of groups of morning swimmers & an inquisitive seal who swam parallel to the shoreline. Bring water shoes so you can enjoy the beach! Easy to drive to Southwold & surrounding areas for the day.

Wow what a great apartment, stunning views, contemporary decor and a delight to stay in. My partner and I stayed here in early December 2020. The views over the sea were uninterrupted and allowed us to switch off and relax. A short walk to all the shops and restaurants and a fantastic balcony. Fun long weekend in Aldeburgh – our first time here. Particularly enjoyed the combination of sea view and log burner at this time of year. Fantastic location for exploring the town and people watching. The large window seat is a real highlight. Well equipped if you wanted to take advantage of local fish, seafood, delis etc – self catering is a doddle. Bed comfy and main bedroom facing west was quiet, and nice and dark for a restful night. Would like to go back in Spring or Summer when the days are longer.

Spending a week at Crag’s nest was a delight. The location is a few dozen metres from the sea with only a narrow dead-end (and so quiet) road in between. The flat is newly refurbished and is relaxing and comfortable. Fine local restaurants, pubs and the famous fish and chip shop are only a minute or so walk away. Convenient private parking at the rear. Highly recommended.

‘Very nice place as center for local exploration’
Very nice place – well laid out and decorated – and what a view from the living room – absolutely wonderful. Aldeburgh great for walking around – nice old houses – pubs – fish & chip shops – fresh & smoked seafood places along the (shingle) beach. There were some brave souls in the sea – note the north sea is quite cold – even in July. Highly recommend.
