Customer Reviews
Lovely stay at Bryony Cottage. The property was spacious, clean with easy access to the beach, just a short 8 minute walk.
Deborah – Aug 2023
Lovely two bed home, nice and clean with good quality linens and towels and extremely comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen, great amount of bathroom facilities. Tesco Express and Co-op just round the corner and about a 10 minute walk into Aldeburgh high street and beach. We went to the local theatre, Jubilee Hall, on our last night which we would really recommend visiting, great way to end our stay. Would recommend Bryony Cottage and use again should we make another trip to lovely Aldeburgh.

The cottage is very spacious, clean and homely, and the bedding is very comfortable. It’s a short walk to the coast. Parking outside or the back is easy. Communication with host was very quick.

This is a great place to stay for visiting Aldeburgh and other places around. It’s an easy walk into town and there are supermarkets 2 minutes walk away. We also enjoyed walking to Thorpeness. The house is clean and fresh with plenty of room for 4, and a nice sunny garden with a bbq. It was useful having an en-suite as well as a bathroom (and downstairs loo!) as we have 2 teenage daughters. The living room is comfortable and must be very cosy in the winter with the log burner. We had everything we needed for cooking. There was also lots of useful information about places to visit, maps etc. We highly recommend Bryony Cottage and are happy we found it.

A short walk to the beach, and a very short walk to a couple of small supermarkets; this cottage was a perfect place for us to spend a few days in Aldeburgh. The house was well equipped, and having secure off-road parking was an added benefit. It was a great base from which to venture out to Woodbridge, Ipswich and Norwich as well as the more local Thorpeness Meares and Snape Maltings.
