Customer Reviews
The cottage is in a quiet residential area. Easy to park outside. The kitchen is well equipped, fridge, freezer and washing machine. There is a large garden room outside. The room is comfortable and also has a smart tv. In the garden is table and chairs . The garden is enclosed and private. Downstairs in the cottage is the kitchen, a lounge/dinner a comfy sofa with recliners. A smart tv. A downstairs toilet/ shower room. Upstairs is a double room with an en-suite bathroom. A further bedroom with 2 single beds. Plenty of wardrobe and draw space for clothes. The cottage is well kept and clean and comfortable. It’s a short drive to Aldeburgh , Leiston and Thorpness . We would recommend Cinnamon the curry house in Leiston. We ate there and the food was delicious and staff very attentive. They also do takeaway too. We had fish and chips in Aldeburgh and they were delicious We also ate at the pud cross keys in Aldeburgh. We booked a table for an evening Sunday roast at the Westleton crown in westleton and it was lovely. Again staff nice and food good. We enjoyed our stay at Burrells cottage. We visited Southwold , Sutton Hoo, RSPB MINSMERE, Snape Maltings, Woodbridge, Dunwich Heath, Aldeburgh, Thorpness , and did park and ride into Ipswich. We enjoyed lots of walking and in particular the walk from Aldeburgh to Thorpeness and back along the seafront. There are several walks at Sutton HOO, and Dunwich heath. Also nice walk along promenade at Southwold and along to the harbour to take a small rowing ferry service over the water to walberswick and back .
