We’ve stayed in many cottages in and around Aldeburgh and this is now our new favourite! It’s cosy but also feels surprisingly roomy in the kitchen/diner (we’re a family of 4). Very clever use of the space, not cluttered, lovely decor and a downstairs loo, which is a bonus. Also the shower is super powerful and there’s a bath, so it really does have a lot packed into a cute little space. Being located on the High St is also very convenient, and during our stay we had no issue with it being noisy etc at any point. We did, however, eat more fish and chips than we probably should have with the shop being opposite! The only thing to watch out for — and the listing clearly states this — is the stairs as they are mighty steep. Can’t wait to return.

201 High Street is a lovely place to stay, comfortable and very handy for pubs, chippy, shops, restaurants and beach a stones throw away. A few people have mentioned the steep stairs, not a problem for us but could be for others. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would stay there again.

Great place right in the centre of Aldeburgh. Shops, pub, beach and fish and chips all within a stones throw. Perfect size for a family of four. Great half-term week break

Great location and really well kitted out. A well kept and well located cottage a couple of minutes from the sea. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and there is also a lovely garden, which was great for eating lunch in the sun! We would definitely come back
