1 Westgate has its own large private garden to the rear which is fantastic for children and adults alike. With access to the Meare Boating Lake at Thorpeness and just around the corner from the popular Dolphin Pub, it is a fantastic property ideal for a family break.

We have never been to Thorpeness before, so we didn’t know what to expect. The house was stunning, old, cosy, and homely. It had games, films, books, kitchen utensils and lots of furniture. The house was 5 minutes from The Meare and the beach and a 45-minute walk across the beach to Aldeburgh. We will so be coming back to stay. Thank you.

Beautiful, peaceful and spacious house in a fantastic location with a lovely homely atmosphere. Beds and sofas super clean and comfortable. Thorpeness is a great place to stay. We loved the beach and Meare, the Dolphin pub, mini golf – and so many things to do in the area. Communication was fast and efficient, easy check-in. Really enjoyed a much needed, fun family week away.
