This beautifully furnished property is located just off the High Street in the beautiful coastal town of Aldeburgh and has its own parking. The cottage comprises of a large open plan living and dining area with patio doors leading to a secluded south facing courtyard garden. All four bedrooms sleep two guests and the cottage has three bathrooms with two showers.

We had a great stay at Shell Cottage. there were 7 of us on a girls’ weekend. the house and location were perfect for our needs. The host had thought about absolutely everything to make it a perfect stay. The house was really spacious and just like the pictures. even though there were 7 of us it never felt cramped. The only few things we’d thought could make a difference were to have a shower in the family bathroom, over the bath and it would have been helpful if the day bed had been made up as a bed in the downstairs room for us. Apart from that our stay was faultless, thank you so much for a lovely stay, I’ll definitely be recommending Shell Cottage.

This is a really good house in terms of it’s larger than expected size, comfortable feeling and in having everything that could be needed in the kitchen but above all because of its great location in being so close to the beach, shops, eateries and facilities in central Aldeburgh.

We’ve stayed at this property in previous years and found it very comfortable for five of us, and it’s so handy being just behind the High Street for shops restaurants and bars. Also the beach is just two streets away. It has everything you need and the kitchen is well equipped. There’s a shower & toilet downstairs, a bath/shower and toilet upstairs and one if the bedrooms is en-suite. Nice little courtyard garden out the back for an evening glass of wine! There’s only parking for one car, but we found street parking up the road at the back, so not a problem.
