Description
One of the most stunning houses on the Meare (a shallow water boating lake) with a private jetty and a large garden. This spectacular South facing house was built in 1913 on the banks of the Meare in the beautiful village of Thorpeness. Ideal for larger groups or family holidays, Reedlands offers six bedrooms, four of which have views over the garden and the Meare.
The interior of the house is modern, with one main large room incorporating a Bulthaup kitchen, dining area and sitting room, all looking out onto the Meare. Externally, the house offers a mature garden with large decking area, sun loungers, private jetty, barbeque, and patio table and chairs for al fresco dining. Just two minutes away from the Thorpeness golf club, the house is only an eight minute walk to the beach. A vibrant village pub – the Dolphin Inn – and a lively café are just a short walk away. Aldeburgh with its boutique shops, delis and restaurants is just a five minute drive from Thorpeness.
