We had a fabulous time at Puddle Duck cottage. It’s a cosy and homely spot directly in the action of Aldeburgh high street. You won’t get a better location and the place is nice and clean; child and pet friendly. Lovely people run this place.

This is a lovely cottage. Well appointed with everything you need. The log burner is great and creates a cosy vibe. The beds are sooooo comfy! The shower is lovely (great power!). The location is perfect as it’s close to the high street (and the chip shop and bakery!), but not bang in the centre of the bustle. We had a wonderful break away and would definitely recommend Puddleduck for a holiday by the sea.

This was the best rental cottage I have ever stayed in – super convenient and super equipped. If you’re going to stay in Aldeburgh you may as well try and stay right in the centre. Puddleduck Cottage is situated at the quiet end of the high street so it’s peaceful but within easy walking distance of all the great shops, bars and cafes on the high street. If you don’t have a car you can easily stay here for a week, maybe venturing along the beach to the totally whimsical Thorpeness. Got wheels? Then don’t miss nearby Snape Maltings, Orford and Wickham Market. One of the best things about staying here is that you get to buy a fish from the many stalls along the front and cook it at home. Add a bottle of two of wine an you’re all set. Of course you could also eat fish and chips all night from the award-winning chippie. Bliss.

I just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had at Puddleduck cottage this week. We were a group of five adults and the cottage was big enough for us all – and so well equipped. The beds were super comfy and the shower deserves a medal of its own. Really a brilliant stay so thanks to the owner and to your company for such a professional service.

We loved Puddleduck Cottage. Brilliantly equipped, fabulous powerful shower and spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds, and a great selection of games for the rainy afternoons. Centrally located in Aldeburgh, we were on the beach in minutes! Also dangerously close to our favourite Two Magpies Bakery!! There was nothing more we could have wished for. Welcome bottle of wine and beer were lovely touches, thank you! We loved it and wish we could have stayed longer!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the charming Puddleduck Cottage, which the owners have furnished and decorated beautifully! It is a very well equipped property with everything and more needed for a self-catering holiday. We particularly enjoyed the comfy beds! The location is perfect, at the quieter end of the high street and within a few minutes walk of the shops, beach, pubs and restaurants. We had our dog with us and the house is ideally situated near the end of the beach where dogs are permitted all year. There are some lovely walks on the doorstep too. This was our first staycation for a few years and definitely won’t be our last! We were sorry to leave Puddleduck and look forward to visiting again.
