Aldeburgh’s shingle beach with its quirky range of fish shacks along Crag Path, bustling High Street with charming galleries, original independent shops, local pubs and restaurants are just a short stroll away. Two renowned golf courses at Aldeburgh and Thorpeness are situated within two miles
Further afield you’ll find a whole host of local attractions on offer including the famous Thorpeness Meare and the world renowned music venue ‘Snape Maltings’

We had a fabulous weekend at Harvest Cottage; it was well equipped with plenty of crockery & cutlery. The garden was secure & private with outside furniture plus bbq. The cottage itself was cosy & warm with attractive decoration. Great off-road parking. Thank you😀

Aldeburgh is a great location especially if the weather is good and during the music festival. Also close to Minsmere for birding enthusiasts. The house itself is in a good quiet location but only 10 or 15 minutes from the Main Street and the beach, via several routes including pedestrian and bike access along the river/estuary. Several excellent walks close by, plus local nature reserves. Handy small supermarkets just a 5 minute walk. Good value pre-cooked frozen meals from the Co-op. The house is comfortable and warm, if starting to be a bit dated, especially the showers and bathrooms. However, everything worked adequately well, except the freezer. It suited us really well, an older couple with our adult daughter.

Easy to find and in a good location, with a short walk into Aldeburgh and close to the local shops. Nice and clean with a well equipped kitchen, and very comfortable beds. The garden was also dog-secure and well kept, and got the sun nicely during the day. Off street parking on the driveway, easy to access. Would go back!

Beautiful house, well decorated and and furnished. Well equipped kitchen. Very comfy beds and very nice bed linen and towels. The house is in a very quiet crescent within 10- 15 minutes’ walk of high street and beach. Also well placed for exploring the area: fantastic medieval churches, fabulous coastline, Snape Maltings, Sutton Hoo (NT) and picturesque villages such as Walberswick.
Excellent walks and bird watching all around.

A lovely house, perfect for the adult couples in our party. 15 mins walk into lovely Aldeburgh or the other way to the beach towards Thorpeness. Which meant it felt quiet and tranquil while still being well placed. All clean and well kept.

Harvest Cottage was the perfect place to stay. The beach is within a 20 minute walk of the property, and after a long day exploring, the cottage was so peaceful and quiet to spend quality time with friends and family. Beautiful cottage in ideal peaceful location a short 10 minute walk to the beach and amenities. Two supermarkets, a farm shop and a friendly pub within a 5 minute walk. Extremely comfortable cottage very well equipped for preparing meals at home and beautiful enclosed and private garden for eating ‘al fresco’. Despite the unsettled weather we thoroughly enjoyed visiting the surrounding areas, had a very relaxing stay and have recharged our batteries! Hope to return soon.
