We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Suffolk, and 3 Hazelwood was a perfect base. There was so much to see and do that a week wasn’t really enough. We’ll be back! Standouts were Sutton Hoo, Minsmere, Aldeburgh, Snape, Thorpeness and Southwold and the lovely walks in the area.

3 Hazelwood was spacious, comfortable and quiet, very well equipped with everything we needed. King size bed was super comfortable too.
A beautiful unspoilt area to visit and explore. Enjoyed some lovely walks and visited Sanpe, Orford Castle and a day at Minsmere.

We found this an excellent place to stay for our visit to the area around Aldeburgh. The property was well-equipped and comfortable. Although close to the main road into Aldeburgh it was quiet enough at night. We found many beautiful villages and churches, the Benjamin Britten locations that we were interested in, and we enjoyed walks in the coastal area with its contrast between wild North Sea and reedy wetlands. We also found good places to eat out.
