‘Absolutely fabulous’
The staff at Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages were beyond fabulous. The whole booking process was very smooth and I was up-dated on things as necessary, including a courtesy call on our day of arrival to tell us the property was ready early if we wanted an early check-in. We got stuck in awful traffic on our way to Aldeburgh from London and were going to miss a Tesco’s delivery I had ordered. I called Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages in a bit of a panic and they immediately sent a member of their team to receive the delivery and put everything neatly away in cupboards/fridge/freezer as appropriate. Our stay was during very hot weather but the garden umbrella wasn’t working and we desperately needed a bit of shade – nothing at all is too much trouble for this agency and within an hour one of their maintenance guys arrived with a brand new one. Not only was Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages fantastic, but also the property (Lower Saltings) we stayed at – gorgeous apartment with everything you could possibly need and in a brilliant location.
Gorgeous ground floor, garden apartment (of a converted house). Everything there you could possibly need, beautifully decorated and airy and bright. Brilliant location – south west facing garden with sun all day, overlooking the marshes, 5 mins walk to beach and 5 mins walk to High Street. Just perfect.

Good Base for exploring Aldeburgh
The property was excellent and well equipped. Situation excellent for exploring Aldeburgh and the local area. Lovely sunny patio. Excellent walks from the cottage along the river.
