Customer Reviews
The Half House is a lovely place to stay. It is well equipped and very comfortable. The house is located in a small hamlet, which is very quiet. It’s possible to walk to Snape Maltings and there is good cycling in the area. We would thoroughly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Half House, it was very clean and well appointed. It was in a beautiful setting and we were lucky enough to get good weather so we were able to sit outside.

We had a great impromptu one night stay at The Half House, it was 15 mins from Aldeburgh beach and in the most fantastic setting backing onto beautiful countryside. We would definitely come back. Thank you. Lee & Zoe

Clean and comfortable in a great location for exploring Suffolk
Robert – August 2021
This little nook was the perfect get away. Secluded enough to give a sense of peaceful isolation but close enough to local attractions not to feel cut off. Orford and Aldeburgh are on the doorstep and the walk to Snape Maltings just lovely. Would strongly recommend as a base for exploring the area or as somewhere just to stay put and enjoy a book and the meadow!
Holly – August 2021
Lovely property for our first trip to Suffolk with everything you’d need in a great quiet location close to Orford. Ideal for cycling the local lanes and walking and close enough to Aldeburgh and Southwold to sample the local area. Found some great restaurants and plenty of fresh fish to eat and take home.
