Description
Ideally located in a quiet and peaceful location on Beach View Holiday Park ‘Hunky-Dory’ features a spacious, light and modern interior with open-plan lounge, kitchen/dining room with French doors opening directly out to a large decked verandah offering a partial sea view.
The surrounding area is part of the Suffolk Heritage Coast, an area of outstanding natural beauty and a favourite spot for walkers and nature lovers with RSPB Minsmere just a few miles away. Coastal walks to Dunwich, Thorpeness and Aldeburgh are also popular with many guests.
Beach View Holiday Park also boasts its own on site bar and cafe with panoramic sea views from the conservatory and outside sun terrace. During the summer season the bar also offers a pizzeria with a traditional wood fired pizza oven on the terrace.

What an absolutely stunning lodge. Everything you could want from a home from home. Loved the hooks on the back of the doors. We loved listening to the sound of the waves on the decking. And being able to see the sea is so calming. It was beautifully clean like a show home. We loved exploring Thorpeness and went on the lake in a rowing boat. We enjoyed Walberswick for crabbing and Orford. Great pub in both places. Southwold was also great, shops and pier and beach. Visit the Harbour for real fresh fish and chips at sole Bay best I have ever had. Also a few Geocaches to be had in the area if you like to Cache. Fantastic weather. My mum said it was a tonic and the happiest she had ever been. Thank you for a lovely property in a fabulous part of the country. My first visit. I would return.

Thank you for a lovely break at Hunky Dory. This was booked at an offer price which was affordable for just 2 people. The property was beautiful and spotlessly clean and we left it in a clean state. I hope I can manage to book another of your cottages at a reduced price in future, as we are pensioners and can go midweek with short notice. I just wanted to thank you for your service and allowing us to go in earlier than expected. I just wished we could have stayed longer.

Four of us stayed here in February 22. It was a lovely stay. The accommodation is almost faultless. It’s very clean and we all felt very relaxed. Sizewell beach is lovely and you can see the sea from the living area. It’s only 15 minute drive from so many places to visit . There are lots of places to eat but all a short drive away but the accommodation is well set up to be self catering with a large Tesco and Waitrose only 10 minutes away.

Fabulous place to stay. Perfect accommodation in a perfect location. The lodge was immaculate and well furnished, very comfortable, and a 2 minute walk to the lovely beach at Sizewell. Lovely to sit in the lounge and look out to the sea. Quiet location. Great communication before the stay and also on the day of the stay to advise the lodge was ready for us. Hamper was amazing too – lovely local produce. We will be back!

My family and I had a great stay. Excellent location with views of the sea. Quiet site with easy access to the beach and surrounding walking trails nearby. Very modern with useful appliances of a high standard and quality. The decor is calming which makes it a great place to relax. Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages were very helpful and went out of their way, through excellent communication, to make our stay a comfortable and enjoyable one. Highly recommended and we would definitely stay here again.
