Customer Reviews
Perfect location, a matter of seconds to walk to the beach which is lovely (down a little track). Parking plentiful and very easy. The gardens are great with a very private “secret” garden with a summer house (with beach games and chairs). Everything you need is in the cottage and we loved the layout. Dolphin Pub is a short walk; we had a great Sunday lunch but would recommend arriving early to get a table outside (food served from 12 noon). There is no local shop so stock up before hand. We really loved Thorpeness and the cottage – thank you

Wonderful place to stay for short or long term as a group of friends or as a family. Lots of detail and care put into the place and space to just relax and enjoy the peacefulness. Its easily accessible even if you come by train its a short taxi drive from the nearest station. The communication with the host was very clear and welcoming. The area is wonderful, beautiful walks, nice restaurants and of course the wonderful seaside. We had a very relaxing and nourishing time there.

Brilliant location, right next to the beach. Lovely little outside space (2nd Secret garden). The house has a slightly quirky layout, but was clean and the kitchen was very well equipped, which we really appreciated. We only stayed a weekend, but would definitely come back for a longer stay.
