There are beautiful beaches to explore at nearby Sizewell and Dunwich. The town also lies within close proximity to Thorpeness and Aldeburgh. This rural town is also a haven for walkers and cyclists as it is located near the coast and the RSPB’s Minsmere nature reserve, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB)
All in all, an ideal base for exploring the Suffolk Coast

Fantastic house for a family weekend away celebrating a birthday. Very spacious 4 double bedrooms with everything we needed provided and a large garden. Was perfect for 5 adults and 2 young children. Only improvement would be a second toilet, but no major issue. Great location to explore the local towns/beaches (Thorpeness/Aldeburgh/Southwold) with plenty of shops within walking distance including a lovely coffee shop for a morning coffee.

A comfortable and well equipped home from home. The pizza oven was great fun, although you do need to be aware it takes at least 2.5 hours to reach the right temperature. A lovely place to stay.
